Eine Premiere von Blur: Die Band wird zwei ihrer neuen Songs spielen und gleichzeitig live bei Twitter übertragen. Der weltweite Video-Stream beginnt am Montag, den 2. Juli, um 19.15 Uhr MESZ. Hasttag ist #underthewestway. „Under The Westway“ und „The Puritan“ heissen die Songs.

People all over the world are connecting with the musicians they love on Twitter. Blur is taking this idea even further by debuting two new songs through a live stream and having a direct conversation with their fans on the platform. They know what their fans want and are setting the pace for the future of artist engagement online.

Der Ablauf am 2. Juli ist wie folgt: Um 19.15 Uhr kann man unter @blurofficial den ersten Song und ein Exklusiv-Interview mit der Band hören, um 20.15 Uhr wird dann der zweite Song online gestellt.

Am 27.6. erscheint mit „Blur 21: The Box“ das Gesamtwerk von Vlur. Mit allen sieben Studioalben sowie über 5 ½ Stunden bisher unveröffentlichten Materials auf 65 Tracks, etliche Raritäten, 3 DVDs, ein Sammlerbuch sowie eine speziell-limitierte Vinyl-Edition der „Seymour“ 7 Inch.
