Am 17. April kommt das neue Album von Train. „California 37“ wird es heissen. Produziert wurde das Album mit Butch Walker und Espionage in San Francisco und Los Angeles. „California 37“ tritt in grosse Fussstapfen, hatte die Band doch mit „Hey Soul Sister“ den weltweit erfolgreichsten Song 2010.

Einen Vorgeschmack  gibt schon mal mit der Single „Drive By“, welche bereits hoch in die Charts eingestiegen ist. Sänger Pat Monahan meinte gegenüber Billboard

We’ve had a lot of songs on the radio since the beginning of the band but never one that moved so quickly. It’s kind of strange how Triple A and hot AC and pop radio are all embracing ‚Drive By‘ with this incredible enthusiasm. We’re not used to that kind of thing. I didn’t spend 3 months or 5 months writing, I just wrote throughout the course of the last 3 years. We have 13 songs that we’ve recorded and I want to hear every single one of them over and over again.
